Berkeley Interactive Theater was founded in 2008 as a UC Berkeley Campus Theater Company “to serve, educate, and train staff, faculty, administration, and students in the complex arenas of race, class, sexuality, ability, and status.” Their work is known for delivering excellent customized-learning theater experiences, based on research drawn from focus groups, shaped in collaboration with community members, and presented to audiences in an interactive style.
